An attractive map of Aragon centered on Zaragoza, based on the cartography of the Portuguese mapmaker Juan Bautista Labana (1555-1624). The map displays finely engraved pictorial topography with north oriented to the right. A fine dedication cartouche at the lower left incorporates the scale of miles and a simple strapwork title is at the top. French text on verso.

Contemporary color on a watermarked sheet with light toning, minor printer's ink residue, and some tiny chips and tears along the edges of the sheet. There are centerfold separations that enter less than 1/2" into image at top and bottom.
