Stupendous county map of Wiltshire with a huge double column containing the armorial of the Earls of Wiltshire and surmounted by the title cartouche flanked by two gentlemen. On the opposite side of the map are the royal coat of arms, a small cartouche naming the kings of ancient Britain who are buried at Stonehenge, and the distance scale, which is decorated with a depiction of surveyors. The map is filled with details of cities, villages, hills, forests and gentleman's residences. Tissue repair of bottom fold separation, else fine, with exquisite color.
