Handsome copper engraved map with much detail throughout. Includes the entire Gold Coast, extends to the southern part of the Atlas Mountains and south to Cape Negro and the city of Benguela. Large and decorative cartouche that is fully colored

Good impression and coloring. On a thick sheet of hand laid paper with three crescent moon watermarks. Small light toned area in unengraved area, else very good.
