A great astronomical chart showing the motions of the planets according to the Copernican theory of the solar system. The inset at the bottom gives the scale of the solar system compared with the Hugenian estimate of the distance between the Sun and Sirius. The female representation of Terra is depicted surrounded by putti representing the stars. This plate was first published in Homann’s Atlas von hundert Charten (1712), Grossen Atlas (1716) and Atlas Coelestis (1742).

Attractive later color, highlighted with gold. Some creasing along centerfold and an old repair on bottom fold, just barely affecting neatline.
