Relatively simple map of North America extending to include the West Indies and northern South America. The British Colonies are confined along the eastern seaboard. The Pacific Northwest is left completely blank except for part of Lanhotan's Longue River and another river hinting at the possibility of a passage to the Pacific. Only a few place names are shown and the land is engraved with tiny trees. Delicately engraved title cartouche and simple compass rose.
