Highly detailed along the coast and inland for 2-4 miles. Shows individual buildings and homes, roads and lanes, plus typical coastal details of soundings, bottom type, buoys (hand colored), light houses, shoals, and much more. Originally published in 1848, these are the corrected edition to 1881. Both with extensive sailing directions and notes. Latter includes a large inset "Part of the Delaware River continued from Frankford to Trenton." A nice matched set of charts.

Both with overall ivory toning, a couple small spots. Former is very good. Later has two large tears that have been crudely repaired, just fair condition.
