Fabulous matched pair of boldly engraved maps that together cover the continent. Both are filled with place names and numerous notations speculating about the Indian tribes and the tributaries to the Amazon. Decorative features include fancy cartouches with figures and symbols and two compass roses. Joined size would be 22.5" x 38". It is unusual to find these maps together. RESERVE $900.
