An unusual and interesting map featuring two separate hemispheres superimposed over a scene of Vesuvius erupting. The map shows the Island of California, Terra Esonis and Terra Australis and two coastlines in the South Pacific named Nova Zeelandia. Three vignettes above; a native of Kamchatka, Niagara Falls, and a native fisherman of Greenland.
