Early and nicely engraved plan of an area of reclaimed land (polder) just north of Amsterdam. Canals surround the land with numerous windmills along their banks designed to keep the land dry. The walled city of Edam is shown adjacent. Decorative title cartouche and compass rose.

Condition: A

Crisp, dark impression with pleasant old coloring. Narrow margins (1/2") top and right. Soft crease at right side.
