A very lovely chart with a large curtain-style cartouche and oceans filled with rhumb lines. Extends from the Gulf of Khamblat just to the edge of Burma. Great detail in the Maldives and Ceylon. A very large and handsome chart with the signet of the Depot de la Marine.

Dark impression and attractive color on a full sheet of thick hand laid paper with a huge crown watermark. Light tide mark at top center, still very good.
