A great pictorial sheet filled with allegorical images. Two women study geography in the foreground while a lion lays curled at their feet and a trumpeting angel hovers above. Four children representing the continents are perched atop a large globe. Neptune and Atlas appear in the background. Drawn by Lauwerens and engraved by Scherm.

Soil in margins and imprint. Margin extended at left and tear entering imprint at bottom repaired and backed with Japanese tissue.
