Copper engraved map with contemporary color. The recently completed Erie canal is depicted in plan and profile. The Adirondacks are not named, but instead labeled Wild Unsettled Country and most of the western counties have only one village shown. Buffalo is very small and named Buffaloe.

Condition: B

Offsetting in blank areas. Tide marks in lower margins.
