Large striking map depicting Brazil from the Amazon delta to Sao Paolo and inland to the Rio de la Plata olim Paraguay. The coastline is well mapped with the location of many place names. The interior, however, is largely unexplored. The large figural title cartouche,(uncolored), features the agricultural bounty of the region.

Bold impression with original color. Bit of light foxing overall. Old paper repair of a short tear into upper right border. Extraneous vertical fold with paper reinforcement of verso.
