Lot of four copperplate engravings from this fascinating work based upon Holbein's original 15th century designs. Rentz presents his engraving in dramatic scenes each enclosed in complex baroque frames, which are hand colored (with the main engraving uncolored). Plates included: No. 13, Der Monch; No. 18, Der Konig; No. 22, Der Grass; and No. 23, Die Grasin.
