Charming map of the Americas with California as an Island. The Great Lakes are shown open-ended in the west and the Colorado River emanates from a large inland lake. In South America there is a large lake in Guyana and the Uruguay River appears much larger than the Amazon does. The Insulae Solomis are prominent in the Pacific with Quiri Regio partially outlined. Title cartouche includes explorers and cherubs using navigation instruments.
