This interesting and unusual map shows only the mountains, rivers and lakes in North and South America. Much of the cartography in North America is considerably outdated as there is no hint of Alaska and there are no mountains in the west except a few shown in what is present day New Mexico and Colorado. Several of the mountains in South America are shown as volcanoes. French text at sides provides an explanation to the map.
