Handsome double hemisphere map focusing on the oceans and rivers. The hypothetical Terre de Iesso is lightly engraved between North America and Asia with the Destr d' Anian separating it from the Island of California. The Great Lakes are shown open-ended in the west. In the Antarctic region Terre Australe Magellanique is also lightly engraved and the Australian coastline is beginning to take shape.

Slight show through of a manuscript ink notation on verso. Backed with light Japanese tissue. A few minor defects in margins, not affecting map.
