Derived from Mitchell's seminal map of North America, this map includes lakes Huron, Oswego and Ontario, and extends to include Ohio, Long Island, Pennsylvania and parts of Connecticut and Massachusetts. Very detailed map including roads, forts and settlements, watershed and topographical information, with many annotations. A nice example of this sectional derivative of Mitchell's seminal map.

Finely engraved on delicate hand laid paper with small watermark and wide margins. Slight uneven light toning, else very good.
