Delicately engraved map of South America with charming cartouche and a simple compass rose. Very good information in the interior, focusing particularly on the systems of the La Plata and Amazon rivers. Nicely detailed with the topography, cities and regions noted.

Couple spots of foxing in margin, tear in right blank margin, just touching neatline, with archival tape on verso, else very good.
