Handsome map of Greece and the Aegean Sea. The map spans north to Albania, Macedonia and the Dardanelles. French text on verso. The sea is fully engraved with calligraphy in Mercator's characteristic style. Small strapwork title cartouche and decorative distance scale.

Later outline color with fully colored cartouche. Top fold separation just entering border. Some paper weakness in the upper left portion that is only visible when held up to light, with a few breaks in paper that could be easily reinforced with tissue. Otherwise a clean crisp impression.
