Handsome map of Asia with nice detail of the countries from Nova Zemla and the Bering Strait in the north to Madagascar and Australia in the south. This is an update of Bonne's 1780 map of the continent. It shows a reasonably accurate Alaskan coastline reflecting Cook's discoveries. The eastern coast of Australia bear's Cook's name of Nouvelles Galles Meridionale and the Carolines have been correctly relocated. The islands in the Indian Ocean are also well defined.
