Rather unusual engraving of a port town that was in the region of Tinnevelly, a town and district of India. The town is on the bank of the Tambraparni river. There are wonderful engravings of the town, and a foreground view of pearl fishermen. This plan was included in Volume III to accompany "The True & Exact Description of the Most Celebrated East - India Coast of Malabar and Coromandel and the Island of Ceylon, with all adjacent Countries" by Philip Baldaeus.
