Very finely rendered steel engraving with about a third of the continent completely blank. Good detail in the north and the Cape Colony. Includes Madagascar and the Canaries, Cape de Verde and Seychelle Islands. Table gives the populations for Morocco, Algiers, Tunis, Tripoli, Egypt, Abyssinia and Zanzuebar.
