Collection of plates from this great series. Ten plates feature beautiful and very colorful moths from Vol. XXXVII - Exotic Moths [and] Vol. XL - British Moths, Sphinxes, &c. Fourteen plates feature an interesting array of beetles and insects from Vol. XXXIV - Introduction to Entomology. Six plates featuring bees are from Vol. XXXVIII - Bees. Complete with title pages and engraved frontis for each volume. A collection of 30 hand colored plates that include many very nice images.
