Handsome plate from one of the most decorative celestial atlases of all time. The chart shows the astrological aspects, such as opposition, conjunction, etc., among the planets. A map of the world projected on a North Polar projection and showing the Island of California, is surrounded by the signs of the Zodiac. The chart is embellished with a cloud background filled with putti.

Condition: B

Fine original color that has oxidized, resulting is a small crack along centerfold. Professionally backed with Japanese tissue to strengthen paper.
