Rare and exquisite, hand colored aquatint of a sea battle between French and British naval forces. This engraving, drawn by Thomas Whitcombe and engraved by T. Sutherland, was among the fifty-five aquatints prepared for this superb publication. The Naval Achievements forms the finest contemporary pictorial record of Britain's naval prowess and is undoubtedly one of the finest naval books ever published.
