This is a very rare leaf from a l4th century Koran in Behari script (sometimes called Herati-Kufic). The name of Allah is written in red and one side contains a beautiful marginal decoration.

References:

Condition: B

Leaf is well worn with some old repairs and replaced corners. One tear entering text at bottom. Couple of smudged letters and spots of candle wax.

Estimate: $700 - $800
