Old European Cities, by Arthur Hibbert and Ruthardt Oehme, c. 1955 is fine reference to Braun and Hogenberg's Civitates Orbis Terrarum, the first atlas devoted to city views. It contains 24 of the most important maps, reproduced in full-color, with translations of the accompanying texts. 144 pp. (6 x 8.2") Hardbound in beige cloth, gilt emblem on front cover, with dust jacket.
