Copper engraved map of the continent with good detail for this style of map. The Rocky Mountains form a single dominant range down the entire continent. The western river systems are particularly well represented along with numerous Indian names. L. Trimpanogos carries the notation "Doubtful" and an unnamed lake in the approximate location of the Great Salt Lake is noted as "The Western limit of this lake are unknown."
