First is by Sidney Hall, published by A & C Black, Edinburgh, circa 1845, (10 x 14.7"). Second by J. Archer, published by H.G. Collins, London, circa 1850, (9 x 11"). Both colored by country with modest detail. The Great American Desert is labeled on both maps.
