A very uncommon and unusual map showing the time differences throughout the world. The divisions of north and south latitude are carefully demarcated in scales on the side borders with twenty-four time zones marked across the top. A narrow Fretum Anian separates North America and Asia, and a huge Terra Australis Incognita fills the bottom of the map. Precisely engraved, with the gothic German title at top, and enclosed in a decorative border.
