Terrific pocket map of California and Nevada with part of Utah and Arizona extending to Salt Lake City and Prescott. It includes incredible detail particularly in the mining regions with a large number of camps and towns named. Also shows railroads, current and proposed, and hundreds of towns, springs, forts, etc. Map includes the western parts of Arizona and Utah, extending to Prescott and Salt Lake City. Fancy, Victorian-style, titling and very decorative wide border. Folding into original gilt embossed cloth covers. Original paper on inside pastedown lists maps and guides available with pricing (this map originally cost only $1.50). A scarce map that is in remarkable condition.
