A very attractive map of the West Indies including the coastlines of the Gulf of Mexico, all of Central America, and the north coast of South America. Shows principal towns and cities, a few navigation routes, channels, rocks and shoals and numerous small islands. The title cartouche is particularly decorative in the rococo style. Engraved by R.W. Seale.

Original color. Bit of uneven toning. Binding tear extending 1.5" into map, repaired on verso with tissue.
