Fine map covering much of southeastern Europe, centered on present day Hungary. Includes Wein, Budapest, Belgrade, and Transylvania. The map is richly embellished with mountain ranges, forests, rivers and cities. Throughout the landscape are numerous depictions of shepherds with their flocks and wild game animals. Strapwork title cartouche and scale of miles. From an Italian edition of 1608 or 1612, with its telltale missing lower right corner of the border, which broke off the plate in 1602.
