Fascinating thematic map showing the habitat of reptiles and serpents around the world. The large folio sheet consists of four world maps each providing information including the range of crocodiles, turtles, lizards, innocuous serpents, and venomous serpents. Two large insets, Types of the Reptiles of the New World and Types of the Reptiles of the Old World, flank the bottom map and a smaller vignette at upper left shows the Perpendicular Distribution of the Reptiles graphically presented on three mountains. A very unusual map.
