A large and very decorative map with minute detail. Shows the region from Normandie through Flanders into part of The Netherlands above Rotterdam and extends east to Germany. Two very fancy cartouches, a compass rose and legend that locates fortified towns, gentlemen's houses, forts, abbeys, universities and more.

Fine impression and coloring. Binding side trim with short repaired tear just into border. Remargined along binding trim.
