A very decorative map of northern Germany with a fine title cartouche. The map (10 x 9") is flanked by two columns of French text and surrounded by a wide rococo-style frame with students studying geography and cartographic instruments. The map and decorative border were printed from two separate plates and assembled with the text for this beautiful atlas. Map fully colored, cartouche and decorative border uncolored.
