Magnificent and unusual chart of the North Pole showing a range of time zones and the Zodiac within a background of day and night. The chart is engraved onto the face of an elaborate case clock with panels of German text at sides. The map shows the Island of California with Compagnie Land stretching between North American and Asia.

Condition: A

Fine impression and original color. Short fold separation with a couple of tiny worm tracks in blank margin. Old repair of fold separation just entering top border.
