Large fascicle, approximately 250 pages, from Munster's Cosmogaphy, Italian edition. Includes title page with a famous woodcut representing heaven and earth. Total of about 120 woodblock illustrations of a variety of subjects including medieval occupations, astronomy, heralds, battles, strange creatures and monsters; city views of Trier (double-page), Edinburgh and Geneva; small maps of Europe, France, Spain, Flanders, and a full-page map of Sardinia. A good opportunity to acquire a nice, varied lot of Munster material.
