A terrific lunar sheet with numerous insets showing positions and phases of the moon after Doppelmeyer. Two large insets show meteor craters on the moon and Newton's Hypothesis. One of the crater insets contains a smaller drawing of a meteor about to strike the surface. A large and very graphically pleasing piece that is seldom seen. Published by Homann Heirs.
