Two early 19th century maps of the Americas, both with good detail throughout. Alaska appears in an early configuration. Though from the same publication, the western part of North America is slightly different on the two maps; America (20.2 x 18") shows a single mountain range labeled The Stony Mountains, while on the Western Hemisphere (19.7 x 19.7") the range is unlabeled with a large lake in the approximate location of the Great Salt Lake. Exploration tracks are shown on the hemisphere.
