A detailed and nicely rendered chart that details the ice pack, land sightings, and explorers tracts. With a large inset of "Ideal section across Greenland showing supposed thickness of ice cap." Published to illustrate the Duke of Argyll's address to the Edinburgh Geographical Institute. Argyll was married to Princess Louise, 4th daughter of Queen Victoria.
