A beautiful, large sheet in full original color. Remarkably early strike from the copper plate with layout lines evident plus very strong ink lines. The large area for the list of maps is blank here, with no pastedown sheet as normally found. Embellished with mythological scenes and figures. At bottom is a view of a large library with scholars and explorers gathered around a table with a globe and atlases. An extremely fine example.
