In North America California is depicted as an Island in the early Sanson form with a nearly flat top beginning at C. Mendocina. Nova Albion has been inserted in the northern part of the island. Tooley calls the map of interest for the innovative insertion of Village des Canots between P. de Carinde and P de la Conception. Anian and Straet Anian appear far north of California. A partial outline of Zelandia Nova is shown in the South Pacific. The beautiful title cartouche features natives and traders.

Excellent impression and coloring, which appears to be original. A little surface soiling, tiny flaw in ocean with paper repair on verso, nearly invisible.
