Nice plan of Buffalo showing streets and major subdivisions. Inset with a "Map of the Village of New Amsterdam" as it was originally surveyed and laid out for the Holland Land Company in 1804 by Joseph Ellicott. It shows the area as the original Village of Buffalo and looks quite similar to present-day downtown.

Issued folding with folds now reinforced with tissue on verso. Short tear entering bottom border, closed with archival tape. Close trimmed at binding side.
