Matching pair of uncommon maps that chart the whole of Scotland in extremely fine detail. The Northern Part has an inset of the Shetland Islands. One of the finest British mapmakers of his time, Pinkerton's maps are notable for their high quality and detail. Size given is for each map.

On thick paper with original margins. Southern sheet with a small stain offshore from the Firth of Forth, else very good.
