Pair of attractive maps of the Holy Land. First (8 x 12"), by Christoph Cellarius, is embellished with a fine decorative title cartouche. Second (9.2 x 13.6"), by Rigobert Bonne, from Atlas Encyclopedique shows the region divided into the twelve Tribes of Israel.

Condition: A

Both sharp impressions, overall very good. Cellarius with binding trim, tiny binding tear in margin and bottom left margin clipped at corner just into neatline.
