Centered on India, but extending to include Persia, east to the Ganges and north to well above Lahor. Great detail of mountains and rivers, walled cities, villages, temples, etc. Very decorative cartouche plus large and decorative scale cartouche with mermaid and mermen. A handsome map that was based on Blaeu's map of the same region.

Condition: A

Fine, dark impression. Lightly toned in top margin just to neatline. Two marginal tears, one just touching neatline. Both closed. Wonderful jester's cap watermark.
