Interesting woodblock map of the continent on a page of Italian text with a small illustration of the volcano Mt. Etna at top. The map depicts the Nile's origins in twin lakes located near the Motes Lunae. It excludes the Horn of Africa and the Cape of Good Hope, but many kingdoms of central and northern Africa are shown. On verso are two woodblock illustrations - a vineyard and a hunting dog.

Dark impression. Very good except for a small spot in ocean.
