Pair of copper engravings from La Perouse's exploration of the northwest coast of North America. "Naufrage des Deux Chaloupes, au Port des Francais" depicts the wrecking of two boats with the Boussole and the Astrolabe in the background. "Femme du Port des Francais" shows two native women in their ornamentation and costume.
